Pictures from January, February, and March

Here are a few pictures from January through February.

Both kids were excited to pose for pictures while balancing on a rock.
Here is our action shot.

We love our tire swing.
I walked into Caroline's room during nap time and found this scene. It was not how I tucked them in for nap time.
Amy found her old hammock. The kids think it is very cool.
Despite the Christmas pajamas, this was a couple months later. Caden and Caroline wear what fits... Well, that's not true. C&C wear whatever pajamas they pick out whether it fits or not. Amy and I figure we have bigger battles. :)

Daddy-Daughter Date Night at Chick-Fil-A

A couple months ago, I took Caroline on a date to Chick-Fil-A. Caroline had told Amy all about I would bring her red flowers and take her on a date. Of course, I had to oblige. Caroline went all out and decided to surprise me by wearing her Cinderella dress.
Me with my little princess.
Caroline loved her flowers.
Caroline and I had a great time date at Chick-Fil-A. I don't want my little girl to grow up.

Hanging Out on the Back Porch

The kids having fun hanging out on the back porch.

We Now Like Ice

Both of our kids have been 100% anti-ice in their water. This was often a problem at restaurants. If their drink had even one tiny ice cube, the kids might over react (imagine that).

Recently, Amy was getting the kids water from our fridge when Caroline said she wanted ice. Amy was surprised by this and asked if she was sure. Caroline said, yes, she now liked ice. She then announced that Caden also now likes ice. Caden went along with her declaration. Caroline really does rule our household.

Hopefully, this newfound appreciation for ice will help when ordering water at restaurants.

Ladybug Catcher

Caroline is the queen at catching ladybugs. She has a knack for it. I just don't know how she does it. Every time we go outside, she seems to catch a ladybug. She just knows how to find them. I know I could not find them as easily as her.

Apparently, this also happens at school. The other day, Caroline was out sick. When Amy took the kids to school the next day, the teacher told Amy that everyone kept asking where the ladybugs were. They couldn't find any. The teacher had to explain to the kids that Caroline was out and she was the one who always found them for the class. Without Caroline, there were no lady bugs.
