First Time Bowling

A couple months ago, we took the kids bowling. Caden loved it but Caroline wasn't sure what to think.

Caden loved doing everything himself. He would have done this over and over (without taking turns) if we let him.

Their first score ever. They did pretty much everything themselves (though Caden did bowl a number of Caroline's frames).

Day Out With Thomas the Train

For the kids birthday, Grammie and Poppa bought the entire family tickets to "Day Out with Thomas." We got up early and drove to Burnet, TX to spend the day with Thomas.

It was a little rainy when we first got there, but that didn't stop the fun. We went to the tented area where we played with trains, got Thomas tattoos, and did some art projects.

 

 

 

When the rain let up, we went and took pictures with Thomas and Sir Topham Hatt.

 

 

 

 Grammie bought the twins Thomas umbrellas to help keep them dry.

 

Finally, it was our turn to ride the train. Caroline wanted to ride with Poppa.

 And Caden wanted to ride with Grammie.

 It is time to get our tickets checked.

 

 

Caden loved the ride and frequently put his head out the window. You can't see it in this picture, but Grammie was holding onto his waste tightly with two hands. :)

 

 Caroline liked the window as well.

 

 We had a lot of fun riding on Thomas.

 

 

 

 

We had a lot of fun on our day out with Thomas. The kids still talk about it. Every time we pass train tracks, Caden talks about Thomas and Burnet.

Sea World -- Part 2

These are some pictures of our second trip to sea world. This time, we saw a lot more shows.

 

 

 

Of course, we made time for some rides. We started with the twins favorite.

Last time, Caden was a little too short to ride the Shamu roller coaster. This time, he was just tall enough. Here is Caden barely above the line.

Caden was very excited to ride Shamu.

Once again, we wore the kids out. Here we are less than five minutes after getting in the car.

Sea World -- Part 1

We bought season passes to Sea World this year. The kids love it there. Here are some pictures from our first trip way back in May of this year.

During our first visit, we spent most of our time going on rides. Here is Caroline on the merry go round. She enjoyed it more than it might appear in this picture.

 The same goes for Caden.

 

 

 Caden and Caroline's favorite was the elevator ride.

 

We did get to see a number of different animals.

 

 

 

 The only show we went to during this trip was the Shamu show. The kids were mesmorized by it.

 

 

 

 

As you can see, by the time we left, they were worn out. We were still in the parking lot when these pictures were taken.
