Disney World -- Magic Kingdom

This Christmas, we went to Disney World with Amy's parents and her brother's family. This was our kids first trip to Disney. We had a great time and did tons of fun stuff. It was fun seeing the parks all decked out for Christmas.

Here is us hanging out in the Magic Kingdom.
We spent most of our time in the new Fantasy Land. It was a really cool area of the park great for the younger kids.
Caden and Caroline loved the Dumbo ride. We rode it at least five times.

There was also a great little roller coaster perfect for Caden and Caroline. We rode this numerous times during our trip.
Caden posing in front of a train that we referred to as "Dumbo's train".
There were tons of shows in front of the castle. It seemed like every time we walked by, there was a new one going on.
Our kids favorite ride was probably the cars they could drive. The got to sit behind the steering wheel and do all the steering while the passenger was just along for the bumpy ride.
Of course we had to ride the teacups.
Caroline had this smile on her face almost the entire time we were at Disney. I think she enjoyed Disney more than anyone else.

The kids never stayed up late enough for one of the big firework shows but they did get to see the "Electrical Parade."
We had a ton of fun in the Magic Kingdom. We rode a ton of rides and saw all sorts of good stuff. The Magic Kingdom was definitely our favorite of the parks.

Brushy Creek Park

We decided to go take some pictures at Brushy Creek Park. Caden was quite the model this day. He loved posing and smiling. Caroline was not so enthusiastic but we still got some good ones. Here are some of our favorites.

Caroline was a little cold and would not put her arms down. After about twenty pictures with her hands at her chin, Amy said, "Caroline, if you put your arms down and smile, I'll give you a princess jump rope." Caroline's arms immediately dropped to her side and she started smiling. We quickly snapped several pictures of a smiling Caroline.

After the photo shoot, we went to play in the park. Caroline wanted to swing on my lap.
It is harder to swing safely holding a toddler than you might think.

We love Brushy Creek Park and will be back soon for another photo shoot.

Sweet Berry Farm Pumpkin Patch

Last year, we had a lot of fun at the Sweet Berry Farm pumpkin patch. We knew we wanted to go again so we found a weekend and we went to check it out. This year, Grandma was in town so she joined us.

The kids were very interested in the goats and were excited about feeding them. Caden went first while Caroline watched.

After watching Caden feed several goats, Caroline decided to try.

The kids were very excited about riding the tractor train.

A family portrait.
Caden was pretty sure he could drive this thing.

Caroline wanted to pet the horses. They were about ten yards away and Caroline told them to come over so she could pet them. Amazingly, the horses listed and came right over.

Of course, we needed to check out the flowers.

Both Caden and Caroline wanted to pick one flower.

We finally made it to the pumpkin area. This year, it was much easier for the kids to lift pumpkins.

The kids liked climbing on the pumpkins...especially Caden.

The kids wanted to go play on the bounce pad. We weren't sure if they would like it but they loved it. Thankfully, there were two pads and almost all the kids played on the other one. For most of the time, there were only two other kids on Caden and Caroline's pad.

The kids loved running across the pad. The little girl by Caroline thought Caroline was cool. She followed Caroline all around and mimicked her the best she could.
Caroline had several big spills but they never phased her.

We had even more fun at the pumpkin patch than we did last year. I can't wait to go again next year.
