A Conversation with Will

Here is a conversation I had with Will when Amy and I were visiting family in Dallas for Easter. To set the scene, Will went to the bathroom (door open of course), flushed the toilet, and exited immediately without washing his hands.

Jason: Will, did you wash your hands?
Will: Yes.
Jason: Are you sure?
Will: Yes.
Jason: Can I see your hands?
Will: (Holds his hands up to show me)
Jason: Why aren’t your hands wet?
Will: (Looks at his hands and with very little pause says) Huh, I must have dried them really well.

Man, is that kid clever. How did he come up with that so quickly?
