This Old House -- Part 2

I left out a few rooms the first time I blogged about our current home. I'd like to tell you it's because we just didn't have the pictures, but honestly, we didn't take the pictures because the bed wasn't made and some of these rooms were already full of boxes. We cleaned up the rooms just enough to snap a few pictures of some of the other places in our house. Here they are...

Here is our green bedroom with our dark brown furniture.

Our Green bedroom with a view of our backyard:

This is our office with our vacation picture wall. We also keep a large green chair in this room but it was covered in boxes at the time this picture was taken.

You might be wondering why we have a picture of a shower shared. The reason is my sweet husband spent hours in here one day scrubbing, cleaning and using his new Dremel to take some of the grout & caulk out. You see, the folks who lived in the house before us decided that they would caulk over the mildew in the bathroom so the caulk would look good for a few weeks.....problem was, the mildew eventually peaked through! No matter how many times we scrubbed it, we couldn't get the shower to look clean. So, Jason used his power tools to take care of the situation! Now, we have a pristine, white shower! Thanks babe!

Here are some of the super cute mirrors I mentioned earlier. This is our master bathroom.
Here is our other bathroom with its own cute mirror. This bathroom had two doors so you could enter or leave from multiple directions. This actually caused some issues over the years. People would sometimes go into the bathroom and only shut one of the two doors. After a few awkward moments (Mike, you know what I'm talking about), we started telling people "shut both doors" whenever they used our bathroom. Every bathroom in our new house only has one door.
