Getting into Stuff

Our kids now like getting into stuff. More specifically, Caden enjoys opening and closing doors while Caroline wants the stuff behind them.

The first cabinet they opened was below our TV. Caroline had tried several times before but couldn't figure it out. It actually takes quite a bit of force to open it. One day, Caden finally decided to give it a try. I think it watched us do it enough where he figured it out. (Our guy is definitely a thinker.) He went over too it and yanked the door open like he knew how it worked. Within seconds, Caroline was shoving him out of the way to get to the stuff inside. The fourth pictures shows Caden after being knocked over.We immediately put a child safety lock on to keep the guys out. Here is Caden trying to get back in. He has already managed to get it off a couple times but I don't think he quite knows how he did it. When he has gotten it off, he doesn't even bother opening the doors. Instead, he carries the lock around the room as if he like he just won the Stanley Cup.
A few days later, Caden discovered how he can open cabinets in the kitchen. He started by pulling out the drawer under the oven. He then moved onto the cabinets. Here the twins found the tupperware cabinet.
I love Caden's smile in the background.
Mmmmmmmmmmm, yummy!
Caroline now knows how to open the cabinets as well. Thankfully, they have not gotten into them too much so far. I would rather not put child safety locks on all of our cabinets. Currently, I only installed child locks on cabinets that contain things they really shouldn't get to like cleaning supplies.
